1963年、日本。 1963年11月、鈴鹿サーキットで日本初のグランプリ・バイクレースが開催された頃、ギルバート・E・クリスターソン氏は、ヤマハのチームのレーサー、伊藤史朗（左）およびフィル・リード（中央）、もう1人（右。氏名不明）と会った。伊藤氏は、1963年、250ccベルギーグランプリで優勝した。また、彼は、同年の世界選手権で3位であった。リード氏は、1961年から1976年の間にグランプリ・バイクレースで52回優勝した。また、彼は世界選手権で7回優勝した。クリスターソン氏は、バイク愛好家で、沖縄のペイサーズ・モーターサイクル・クラブの初期（1957年・1958年）のメンバーの1人であったと思われる。彼は1961年同会の会長であった。 1963 Japan In November 1963 around the time of Japan’s first Grand Prix Motorcycle races on the Suzuka Circuit, G.E. Christersson met YAMAHA’s factory team riders Fumio Ito (left) and Phil Read (center), (unknown right). Mr. Ito, in 1963, won the 250cc Belgian Grand Prix. He took 3rd place in the 250cc World Championship of the same year. Mr. Read, entered Grand Prix motorcycle races from 1961 to 1976 winning 52 times. He won 7 World Championships. Mr. Christersson, a motorcycle enthusiast, is believed to be one of the original members of the Pacers Motorcycle Club in Okinawa from about 1957/58. He was its President in 1961. 寄贈者：G.
